Blip #8 – Cloudbusting

On occasion, standing around for hours on end leads to something other than camera discussions, long stretches of silence and conversations descending further and further into the realms of surreality or obscenity. Today was one of those days. Waiting for Koo Stark to leave Isleworth Crown court (yes, that’s right), I noticed that the planes coming in to land at nearby Heathrow airport were making some nice swirls as they broke through the low clouds. To fill the time, I ended up trying to find a way to catch these bursts. This was my favourite shot from my idle play and it happened to be a pleasing combo of a plane with interesting detail, a cloud right overhead and some telephone wires to frame the plane nicely as it passed. Totally random but it wasted a few minutes…

I love this. You can make art out of anything…
Very original.. It works..!
