A few words about me
I've always been excited by photography. It hasn't always been my job, though: I turned professional in 2002, after ten years of touring with my old band Elfin (in case you're wondering, I was the drummer).
In 2003, I got a great start to my career when I was named Times/Tabasco Young Photographer of the Year - the first of a string of honours including, at the 2004 Picture Editors' Awards, the title of Arts & Entertainment Photographer of the Year.
Following a number of years working for The Times, I am now a staff photographer with worldwide news agency Agence France-Presse and can proudly claim to be one of only seven photographers still working out of Fleet Street, from the London office of AFP.
Along with several high-profile national and international private clients, my work can also be found in print and online media ranging from the satirical magazine Private Eye to the BBC.
